An established and well respected, medium sized practice based in the Chelsea area of London, synonymous with bespoke and luxury residential projects, are looking to recruit an Associate level Architect. The majority of their work is London based, prime and super prime residential single dwellings and consist of extensions, alterations or refurbishments of existing properties, although the occasional new build project will arise. Project values can range from £1M to £45M (and sometimes larger). Their clients have a high net worth and demand top quality design, both traditional and contemporary. This can include basement extensions and listed buildings or work in conservation areas. The projects are very appealing as they allow you to push design boundaries working with lavish budgets, producing fantastic bespoke architecture.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be running some of their larger projects, those with a value of circa £30M and you will be also running a team.  The successful candidate will require experience working in the UK prime residential sector, on similar scale projects.  Basement experience would be highly advantageous.  The practice uses AutoCAD. You will be working with a talented and professional team with a passion for luxury design. The practice also has a strong social culture including several architecturally focused away days throughout the year.
